  1. 1. Watched this video
    2. Got confidence to get to 400
    3. Lost 5 games
    4. Rewatching the video

    Ps – I'm dumb

  2. 26:27
I could be wrong but wouldnt moving the bishop to g5winning the rook be better than taking the bishop

  3. i followed your advice and took my rook out… turned out we can't do that in public.

  4. 56:04 it' s Zugzwang (the g is not slient) u almost nailed it 🙂

  5. Notes;
    Desparato
    Fried liver attack counter
Pawn End game – its all about who runs out of moves first and the next move made is a disadvantageous move

  6. yeah? well i dont know openings and im 1200! ive only lost 60 percent of my games!

  7. 9:48 why is it bad to move the rook there ? is it because then i can take the pawn on c3 ?

  8. Glad I found this. I lost 5 times in a row today to fried liver at 800… 😅

  9. This was definitely a very good and benefical video

  10. As someone who is around a 1000 rating I think it’s funny how I found most of the moves that he said “I don’t think I 1,000 finds that move” on but I would miss other ones that he felt were pretty basic 😅

  11. When i was around 300, my friend (unknown elo) did the Tennyson Gambit: ICBM variation on me, most terrifying thing i've experienced

  12. The thumbnail looks like you're making a 9/11 meme.

  13. I recently started playing chess after many years. You make learning the game fun. Thank you Levy!

  14. 30:13

Its crazy how good he gets it. I played the exact same move as his before watching this. I lost the game but damn.

  15. Dude goes for a fried liver and says "it was my opponent that went for the aggresive opening."

  16. Hi everybody. Would someone care to explain why taking the c4 pawn here https://youtu.be/ScY7qXkmTwA?t=3817 actually triggers white to take with their bishop thus delaying their castling? I see how that enables the rook and queen game that follows but I don't understand why white takes. Granted I'm a much lower level, but still! Appreciate anyone taking the time to explain.

  17. New to the channel and a new Sub, fantastic stuff.

  18. I absolutely LOVE your videos my guy! Everything from your knowledge to your comments and jokes,, overall top quality stuff!!

  19. I like the way that he treats. Chess like a war 😂❤

  20. 1. I watch without ad blocks.
    2. I am watching this series and then the course.
    3. I love your content and these long game recordings rock. Keep it up. Thank you.

  21. Been playing over a year. My rating is currently 720. This is great

  22. Levy you should do more of these videos 🙂

  23. Im currently 800 but always ahead according to the engine after the opening. My issues seem to be navigating the middle game when the situation is more fluid. Never know when to make the pawn breaks etc

  24. Why you dont play those advanced moves i ve been playing chess for two weeks and Im really bad in it but I see those moves before you say it so please just do it …

  25. Me being 800 but levy saying the move I found was 2700-2900

  26. Would love to see Levy lose to an 800.

  27. 55:05 this guy is playing the game of his life and Levy is more worried about dinner 😂

  28. 59:47 Something weird. I know what played was …dxc5, Kxd5, but for some reason it shows the king in check from the black d6 pawn that should be gone.
