  1. watching this after stalemating opponent with queen bishop and a rook

  2. Man you explain things really well! Best explanation of these rook and pawn endings i've seen, especially the Lucena position!!

  3. It would be awesome if you made a lesson about passed pawns. like when should I think about trying to make a passed pawn.

  4. Glad this info was at the search of the finger tip. Thx

  5. Dude nice you look insane but you good at chizess

  6. I really like how you connect the different positions, e.g., Long-side defense vs. Lucena win (depending on who is on move).

  7. First ever video of Levy I liked. Well explained.

  8. A game of chess has three phases: the opening, where you hope you stand better; the middlegame, where you think you stand better; and the ending, where you know you stand to lose – Tartakower

  9. I think your teaching would be better if you went over all of the bad scenarios first, and then went over the solution. Not the other way around.

  10. Rewatching for 3rd time, still blundering endgames so much

  11. Only 3 endgame videos 😐.easy endgames 🤨. After watching videos,😎 these are super cool.

  12. Endgames arent boring, openings are (for me)

  13. Why can’t you go to g7 in the lucena I tried it with g7 and won

  14. I can’t even remember the last time I played checkers, crackle barrel probably

  15. i left when he started teaching lucena , knew it would be too hard for me

  16. No matter how good or best the world's champions play chess. I bet no one can explain and interpret the way better than Gotham ❤️. React if you agree 💯

  17. Yo Levi! Any new endgame vids? If no, do you have an endgame course? I would totally buy it if you do!

  18. Here's 1400 just watched this video.. hope i can be 2000++ one day 🔥

  19. Can u win king rook vs king? xd i run out of time before i figure it out allways xd

  20. I made up my mind to get an endgame education. It’s a great area of the game to study. Levy’s training videos are so valuable toward expanding my capabilities. A great resource for subscribers.

  21. I am having a hard time with the Vancura position, because it is shown from the perspective of white but you play it as black. Messes me up to turn the board around to get the black point of view and then make it work.

  22. Hi Gotham, I would like to know if it's possible to win that endgame position as black-

  24. i suck at these games. Will try and implement some of this

  25. Well explained! This is highly instructive because rook & pawn endgames are probably one of the most common endgames there are. Now – if I can just remember this stuff.

  26. i just first time got in rook and pawn endgame😂 (1200elo rapid) . of course don't know endgame. result is horrible

me: great move! (4)blunder (7) missed win (2) accuracy 66%
opponent: great move! (5) blunder (9) missed win (2) accuracy 64%

    barely had win💪

  27. 05:50—my bro why haven't you check with white rook at h8 bcoz by this you can grab his rook

  28. Keep up the endgame lessons.

Show something like rook vs 2 pawns or 3 pawns.

  29. i always end up in a winning endgame with the both of us having a rook and the same amount of pawns and i always throw :///
